Streetz Gon Burn Hot Mixtape by Gemstar
Gemstar: A New York hip-hop artist has made a solid commitment to his music and vow to make a change stamping out the hypocrisy which is plaguing the music industry. Born and raised in Roosevelt, NY, music was the passion of GemStar's heart from day one. Gemstar's most recent project “Streetz Gon Burn” has gone back to an era when hip-hop meant an infinite horizon of possibilities rather than the staleness of predictability. The 1 hour and 10 minutes CD keeps the listener entertained as well as "amp up" as he paints a picture of the true meaning of the underground hustle giving you the raw energy and realism straight from the Streetz. The album also features several special guest artist such as Arlis Michaels, Rahmeg, Capital P, Laylo, to name a few who freestyle with Gemstar on many of the tracks.
The hardcore realism of GemStar's life can be heard on the tracks "My Life","Who I Am" "Streetz Gon Burn" and "RIP". Overall the 21 musical tracks that the album contains has a talented muscial flow which provide something for even the pickiest hip hop listener. Teaming up with picture perfect to create music videos: "Make Money" featuring Capital P, "Who I Am", which are featured on Real Talk DVD series and numerous live performances for example opening up for Busta Rhymes. He has also been recently interviewed on the Danger Vision Show hosted by Tommy Danger. Gemstar has been on the move from NY to Miami on the grind bringing the "heat" he has put in "Streetz Gon Burn" CD, and in each of his live performances he has increase energy showing his hungry to be the best in what he does.
